QCad is an application for computer aided drafting (CAD) in two dimensions (2D). With QCad you can create technical drawings such as plans for buildings, interiors, mechanical parts or schematics and diagrams. QCad drawing files are in DXF format (DXF 2004, R12), permitting interchange with a wide variety of CAD systems. This package builds from the Community Edition sources, released under the GNU General Public License. A commercially-licensed Professional Edition, which adds a scripting module and support, is available for several platforms; see the QCad home page.
Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
Please note the vulnerabilities database might not be fully accurate, and not every bug is exploitable with every configuration.
Problem reports, updates or suggestions for this package should be reported with send-pr.
