CppUnit is a C++ unit testing framework that started its life as a port of JUnit to C++ by Michael Feathers. It features: * XML output with hooks for addition data * Compiler-like text output to integrate with an IDE * Helper macros for easier test suite declaration * Hierachical test fixture support * Test registry to reduce recompilation need * Test plug-in for faster compile/test cycle * Protector to encapsulate test execution * MfCTestRunner * QT based graphic test runner
Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
